My name is Ildikó Kántor, I live in Hungary, since so far I haven't found a group in my country through which we can send donations to Palestinians in need of aid, so I created my own collection. The idea of ​​the collection was given by a hopeless mother from Gaza, I would like to briefly present her story.

I would like to introduce the Al-Faramawi family, among the nearly 2 million Gazans seeking refuge and safety, where the mother was left alone with her two minor daughter after their home was destroyed by a bomb and her husband became a martyr. Farah is 5 years old, and Marah is 4 years old. Maria's sister was also left alone with her 3 children, the youngest of whom is 7 months old. The mother, Maria Iyad Ismail Al-Faramawi, contacted me on Instagram weeks ago in her final desperation and asked for my help, and I used the options available to me. Currently, they have found temporary accommodation in a camp for refugees located next to Taif School, so I immediately contacted one of the surgeons of the European Gaza Hospital in Rafah, Mohammed Qudaih (his active Instagram account can be found at: https://www.instagram.com/mohammed.qudaih1 ?igsh=MXFnYXF4ZGNheTNsZQ== ) who, in addition to his continuous heroic stand, takes an active role in using the collected donations and delivering them to the right place. As I write these lines, thousands of women are in the same situation as Maria. Women who lost their children, husbands, parents, children who lost their parents and siblings, lives destroyed in a split second.

As a result of the cruel war lasting more than 150 days, the Palestinian population is threatened not only by incessant bombings, but also by starvation and various infections and diseases caused by the lack of hygiene. As a result of the war, the population, deprived of their usual way of life and out of work, can clearly only count on us, the donators and the humanitarian organizations to get food, diapers, formula, toiletries, and medicines.

The primary goal is to provide the Al-Faramawi family with enough formula, diapers, food, and clothes for several months after this year's Ramadan. At the moment, these things mean survival for them, while for us it's just a little reprieve from our everyday lives. By working together, I think we can reach a new level and support more mothers, fathers, the elderly, families, and orphaned children in starting over, I want to give them hope that they are not alone, I want them to know that there are people in the world who they don't turn their backs on them.
