Over 2 million Palestinians are in desperate need of basic, life-saving resources.
Despite huge obstacles, our colleagues and partners are working relentlessly in their communities. They are distributing food, clean water and sanitation, hygiene kits, providing trauma counselling and so much more.The recent ceasefire announcement brings cautious hope for Palestinians and Israelis. Our local teams and partners are preparing to respond at scale after months of extraordinary challenges delivering humanitarian aid in Gaza.
- The Israeli military has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, including thousands of children. Entire families and neighbourhoods have been destroyed.
- Man-made famine is spreading in Gaza. Starvation is widespread, and children and families are already dying from hunger.
- People are struggling to access basics like food, water, medicine and shelter.
