Milan was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. The girl walked on her toes, and her tongue did not develop like other children of her age. The first words appeared at the age of 3, but her vocabulary did not expand. Milan was only recommended to attend speech therapy classes, and for the past year the girl has been attending speech therapy classes regularly and has shown improvements in both speech and behavior. Families and specialists recognize that her vocabulary has increased and Milan's communication and personality skills have improved. Work with a speech therapist must continue so that Milan can reach new heights and be included in society. Milan's speech therapy classes twice a week cost 2,880 euros per year. The family is asking for our support. Unfortunately, the state-funded speech therapy classes are far too little for Milan to develop and additional classes are needed.
