I am a mother of two daughters, aged 16 and 5. My health problems started some time ago and the accurate diagnosis was made in February this year. Cancer, has already taken away my hearing in one ear and has made everyday functioning much more difficult due to damage to the auditory nerve. Currently, I cannot do any work due to symptoms related to the diagnosis (cancer), I have dizziness, impaired motor coordination, tinnitus and squeaking 24/7. In addition, you cannot ignore the constant headache. Everything is getting worse every week. In February, I was still working normally, and now further work is in doubt. I have treatment, a commission for disability allowance and a fight ahead of me... 

A fight to come back to life and be with my daughters. I don't like asking because I always try to deal with difficulties in life on my own. However, I am standing against the wall and waiting... Will there be enough time? We will see..

I am currently after the Cyberknife procedure, it was in June, the aim of this procedure is to stop the changes that have occurred. I was qualified due to neurological changes that have made my daily life very difficult. At the moment I am waiting for a check-up and an MR of the head which is to show whether the neoplastic change has stopped its growth. However, the symptoms remain because it cannot be reversed or repaired. I will not regain my hearing, the same as when it comes to the labyrinth, it cannot be repaired, tinnitus and squeaking have their good and bad days. The same with headaches, most often associated with the squeaking. It is even difficult to fall asleep then. I limit my daily functioning to moving around the house because the labyrinth and dizziness cause great discomfort outside the house. What comes to mind when you see a staggering woman who is also walking with a small child?? Exactly.. no one would think it was because of cancer..
