Hello. My name is Juxhin. I'm a 32 year old expat from Greece and live in the UK. Over a month ago, on the 10 of November , my father entered into emergency hospital care in a critical condition after being diagnosed with advanced stage gangrene caused by a staphylococcus infection from a past surgery. So far he had had to undergo three extremely hard and high risk surgeries and eventually had to be amputated to stem the spread of necrosis. He was fighting it and recovering until three days ago, on Monday 01 of December we ran into a serious complication.

My dad presented with a fever, the antibiotics he had been issued not working, and had to be hospitalized -again- just as we thought things were getting better. He is still running a fever now, his blood sugar is very high (he is a diabetic) and more blood tests are being ran on him even as i'm typing this.

But this is it. This is as far as we can go as a family. After a month of hospitalization and surgeries and having to afford a complicated piece of medical equipment to help his amputation wounds heal we are being forced to give up. We have ran out of money and there isn't a way for us to raise any in any manner that doesn't require me turning to someone else for help.

Healthcare of the level my dad requires at the moment costs almost 1000 euro for ever day he has to remain in hospital care. Our family never had a lot of money and after losing my mom to cancer just one year earlier (and having gone through another year of extremely costly procedures in the fight against it) we are finally with our backs against the wall. Our bank accounts have ran dry.

My brother is the only person taking care of my father back in Greece right now. He is 21 years old. Unemployed. I live in the UK and make less than 1000 pounds a month. We simply don't have the means, even after coming so far.

I hate to have to ask for sympathy, for charity, without being able to provide anything in return but I have to.

Please help me save my dad. And if you can't donate, i implore you, please spread it. Please. It will cost only one moment of your time but it might help this to reach someone who will care enough and have the means to help.
