Project Goal: To raise funds for the active promotion of the idea of voluntary participation in military training (PUVU), which offers a previously unestablished way of fulfilling military service.

Project Description: The PUVU project enables voluntary participation in military training sessions planned, organized, and conducted by the army. It is intended for all interested individuals, regardless of age (including those over 15), provided they pass a medical examination. This approach allows participants to educate and train themselves for military operations or emergencies during their free time, mostly on weekends.

Activity Example: For instance, the army organizes a cycling event over hilly terrain on a Saturday as a fitness training and to learn cycling techniques on different terrains. Interested individuals sign up and gather at a specified location at a given time. The army can provide bicycles and meals.

Other Possible Activities: Training in various military fields such as handling military equipment, fitness exercises, combat training with martial arts, engineering training, etc.

Project Advantages:

1. Non-compulsory learning and preparedness for emergencies.
2. Individuals decide when and how many training sessions they will attend.
3. Greater appeal to the general population, including both younger and older individuals.
4. Flexible duration of training sessions (one to two days, or even longer).
5. Opportunities for gaining and maintaining physical fitness.
6. Voluntary exams for certification of competencies.

Funding Needs: Funds are needed for:

• Organizing presentations in various locations
• Lectures, interviews, videos, and participation in discussions
• Travel and promotional costs
• Lobbying at relevant offices and ministries
