Education is the key to a better tomorrow, and the Q Foundation isn’t left behind!  Already 900 laptops have made their way

to Ukraine, opening the door to knowledge and  opportunities for young minds. An additional 500 laptops were handed over

to those in need in Poland, creating modern public reading rooms. The Q Foundation not only provides equipment, but shapes the future by supporting children, young people and adults in their educational pursuits. By connecting people with knowledge,

it is easier not only to acquire information, but also to maintain close relationships, even at a distance. Now, the Q Foundation

is entering the next stage of the EDUaction, offering a rich set of  workshops and trainings. It is not only help in learning, but also support for those who intend to come to Polish, helping them in the preparation and legalization of their stay. Knowledge is power,

and the Q Foundation puts it in the hands of those who want to build their future in Poland. Let's open the door to new possibilities together! 

Who are we?  

Every story has a beginning. Every story is different. Each one is unique in its own way. Ours too. From the beginning, there

was a fierce battle of thoughts, ideas in our heads, competing with each other to be the first to see the light of day. We decided

to give them all a chance - not to push any of them into a corner, not to leave them for later, and to implement  our ideas in small steps. We wanted to create a place that would be an unlimited space for the realization of our plans. 

And so, in 2018, the heart of the projects swirling in our thoughts was created – the Q Foundation. A year later, in the building

of the primary school in Rozalin, we created a vibrant Museum of Stories. Our multifaceted concept took shape when we settled in our new headquarters. This place allowed us to spread our wings and give our concept sky-high shapes. In less than a year since we were born, we have pushed life and color into the gray walls of the old school. We managed to organize a series

of concerts of both Polish and foreign performers, meetings with literature, the series of which we gracefully named QlturaFest, and numerous open air photo workshops. We were the creators of charity events and initiators of activities supporting

the development of the local community. We conducted workshops, professional exams and helped people struggling with

the lack of work to gain new qualifications and internships, which opened the way for them to improve their position on the labour market. These people also believed in their own abilities. We were present at various music festivals: Folkowisko, Rozsypaniec, in Cieszanów for the Rock Festival, where we had the opportunity to co-create the City NGO town. We proudly co-organized the Wanderer Festival. We can't sit still. Stagnation? It's not for us!

Polish lessons - level A1 and B1

We understand how much of an obstacle the language barrier is, which is why we put emphasis primarily on group Polish lessons, paying special attention to people who are just starting their contact with this language. Lessons are conducted in groups of ten, which are organized in such a way as to evenly develop the language skills of people who are at a similar level of knowledge of the Polish language. Thanks to these classes, participants will be much better able to cope with everyday situations and various types of  formalities, which also reduces the level of stress and has a positive effect on the overall functioning.

In addition, knowledge of the Polish language is necessary to obtain the Pole's Card.

Polish history  

Preparation for the Pole's card Knowledge of Polish history is also a necessary requirement for people applying for the Pole's Card. In addition, however, knowing the history of the country in which one resides or intends to reside permanently brings enormous social benefits and eliminates the links based on cultural differences. We believe that the better we get to know each other today, the easier it will be for us to live together on the same earth tomorrow.

Acclimatization workshops for people with disabilities. 

People with limited mobility due to health are particularly vulnerable to social exclusion. For this reason, they are provided with special protection and support by the state, but it may differ significantly from the same support offered in other countries. We have prepared workshops to solve this problem, during which a person with a disability will learn the basics of the Polish health system, jurisprudence and support, which will make it easier for him or her to obtain Polish documents related to it, start education, work or independently obtain further information. Moreover, thanks to the workshops, participants learn about local communities of people with disabilities and various important legal aspects related to the functioning of such people in Poland.

Help in settling taxes  

Taking up a job in Poland is subject to specific tax obligations. Moreover, it is important that both the employee and the employer comply with the Labor Code. Therefore, during these workshops, the participant will learn their rights and obligations and how to pursue and comply with them. Thanks to this, a foreign person who is more aware of how the labor market works will be less exposed to potential threats related to dishonesty. In these workshops, we place particular emphasis on mandatory annual income tax settlement.

Psychological hygiene and mental well-being  

Even though people's awareness of mental health has increased significantly in recent years, it is still easy to get lost in the psychological maze when faced with stress, trauma or other factors. We want to create a comfortable space that will allow sharing experiences and help participants understand their own reactions to various emotions related to, for example, stress or trauma related to migration. The main goals we want to achieve include: raising awareness of the impact of conflict and migration on mental health, identifying factors influencing mental health, developing self-care and stress-coping skills - by presenting appropriate strategies, support in the context of building the ability to maintain emotional balance and supporting the integration process within the framework of psychosocial support. By organizing such a training, we want to equip participants with practical tools to maintain mental well-being in migration conditions.
