We are a group of young innovators from Poland passionate about technology. We graduated from high school this year. We have qualified for a week-long trip to the USA alongside with about 30 other teenagers from all around the world. We have the chance to present and test the mobile power station project we have been working on for the past 1.5 months.

Unfortunately, two of us did not qualify for the travel stipend, which covers flight costs. The organisation https://the.hackfoundation.org/ only funds grants for teenagers up to the age of 18. However, due to a misunderstanding, we were mistakenly led to believe that stipends were also available for 'recent' high school graduates. Hubert and Paul had recently turned 19 and it was only at the beginning of June that they found out their travel costs could not be covered by HackClub. The limited time combined with the commitment to the project deprives us of the opportunity to earn the sufficient amount ourselves.

The Trail is a mountain trip that will take place on the Pacific Crest Trail (https://www.pcta.org/). It is organised by the Hack Club (https://hackclub.com), an association of young programmers, technology and electronics enthusiasts. Thanks to the Hackclub organisation, we set up a programming club at our school, and have been running it successfully for the past year (club website: https://alopb.hackclub.com).

The trip itself will take place from 12 to 19 July 2024. Teenagers from all over the world will present their projects.
