Description
Welcome to the Feldenkrais Book Club community! Here, we explore the Feldenkrais Method alongside contemporary works in neuroscience, psychology, and the art of mindful movement. Each month, we gather online to discuss a carefully selected book, fostering rich dialogues that deepen our understanding of movement, attention, and the latest scientific insights.
This initiative is born from my personal enthusiasm for moderating discussions — it's a passion project, independent of any institution, and nurtured in my free time.
📸 Behind the scenes of the bookclub:
Behind the scenes, the Feldenkrais Book Club thrives on dedication — creating our website, managing social media, moderating discussions, and developing a collaborative space for sharing notes (Miro board!). While this work is immensely rewarding and filled with joy, it is also resource-intensive. Your support can make a significant difference, helping me cultivate this initiative further!
If you resonate with the mission of the Feldenkrais Book Club and believe in the importance of creating such a meeting and discussion space in our small Feldi-community, I warmly invite you to consider supporting.
Whether through a one-time contribution or by choosing one of the three monthly support tiers (suggested below), your support will help nurture connections within our community, spread the word about our initiative, and allow us to grow together.
- Curious Connector (€5/month):
- Pattern Explorer (€10/month):
- Embodied Reader (€15/month):
Cultivate connections—both your inner ones and the connections within our community! Thank you for considering supporting!

The book club is open to trainees in the 4-year training program and any Feldenkrais practitioners who have completed their training and wish to contextualize the Feldenkrais method within the latest research on movement, attention, mindfulness, and neuroscience. WHAT CATEGORIES OF BOOKS WE WILL BE READING?
You can watch this movie explaining the categories.
While you can choose to read the books in your own language or any other language, the monthly discussions will be held in English.
No, participation in the discussion requires that you come prepared. To maintain a high level of discourse and to respect the contributions of all members, it is essential that everyone participating in the meeting has read the book. This ensures that our discussions remain focused and relevant. If you are unable to read the book for a particular month, you can simply join us for the meeting in the following month when you have had the opportunity to read it.
WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ABOUT THE UPCOMING MEETINGS?
There are published via Instagram. The website is also on the way, to provide information for people who do not use social media.

WHO IS BEHIND IT?
My name is Weronika Koralewska, and I am the founder, coordinator, curator, and moderator of the Feldenkrais Book Club. Given my professional background as a facilitator and trainer in non-formal education methods, as well as my experience working with various NGOs (and a co-founder of one non-profit foundation), I decided to apply my skills within the Feldenkrais context.
Currently, I am immersed in a four-year Feldenkrais training program in Vienna. Over the past year and a half, I have coordinated a smaller online book club for fellow book lovers—fellow trainees from my cohort. We met monthly (online) to discuss one book each month, and this experience inspired me to expand the book club into an international platform for online discussions, welcoming participants from around the globe.
