Description
Byzantine Choir "Saint John of Damascus" from Arad, Romania promotes an unique style and genre of liturgical music used in Eastern Orthodox Church and also in Romanian Orthodox Church. His main target is to sing in liturgical services as Vesper's, Holy Liturgy and other liturgical services but occasionally travel to choir festival to promote the Byzantine Orthodox Music. Our choir was founded in 2008 and have as members priests, students and mens that love liturgical music but work in different activities. From 2018 is conducted by priest Gabriel Streulea and have participated in 2021 in Byalistok Choir Festival winning 3rd prize in parish choirs category and in 2022 in Alta Pusteria Festival, Italy.
