Hello,

my name is Filip, I am from Slovakia but now I am living a studying at Prague University of Economics and Business.

I'm hard working and goal oriented, but everyone needs help from time to time right? My time is now. The cost of living as a student is high, you know that. There is not much money left to pursue dreams despite my best efforts. That's why I turn to you, kind-hearted people who are happy to support a budding entrepreneur with at least a small amount.

About my goal:

In 2023, I worked in a small start-up company focusing on tourism and accommodation in Prague. I enjoyed it very much. I was doing guest accommodation and basic guiding around Prague. Here I found that a lot of people needed themed tours of Prague, beer tours, kid friendly tours, movie tours etc. Everyone was interested in something else they wanted to focus on in Prague. When I wanted to refer them somewhere, I searched for hours but found nothing that wasn't a scam or unfairly expensive. I'm very sorry about that, because Prague is beautiful and charming, and because of people like that, tourists take away even unpleasant feelings from there, as many guests told me themselves.

I want to change this and show Prague in all its glory, and gradually I would like to offer accommodation that fits in with the concept of the given themes, so that people take only the best from there and like to come back. My goal is to have cooperation with other businesses and make money primary from thies. This could guarantee a price reduction over time compared to really expensive competition. I also want to focus on different price ranges, because as a student I know that exploring the world isn't exactly the cheapest thing to do. Neither is starting a business.

My approximate cost to get started:

Website = $600

Advertising (social media, flyers, downtown ads) = $700 

2 rentals of a small office in the old downtown threshold = $1000 

Equipment for the routes given, e.g. team t-shirts, items for customers = $700

Other incidentals such as phone, travel, setting up a business, etc. = $350

What I can do myself: 

Create elaborate routes

Create and procure marketing

As an economist, I can handle accounting, etc.

Create a business network thanks to acquired contacts

Cold calling to businesses

Do tours by myself

Procure all the necessary things and ensure the overall running of the business

Prepare advertising flyers and advertising in Canva
