Beskrivelse
The Olympic Games are usually associated with countries that have strong traditions, large budgets, and generations of experience behind their athletes.
My story is different.
I come from Romania, where sailing is still a small sport and opportunities are limited. When I started, there was no Romanian woman to look up to in Olympic sailing and very few people believed this journey was possible.
Together, we changed that.
In 2024, I became the first Romanian woman to compete in Olympic sailing at the Olympic Games.
Now I'm working toward Los Angeles 2028.
Reaching the Olympic level requires years of training, international competition, coaching, equipment, and thousands of hours on the water. Behind every race are countless days of preparation that most people never see.
This journey has never been built by one person alone.
Every supporter becomes part of the team. Your contribution helps create the stability needed to focus on performance, continue competing against the best sailors in the world, and keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible for Romanian sailing.
My goal is not only to compete at the highest level, but also to help grow the sport in Romania and show future generations that where you come from does not determine what you can achieve.
If you've ever been told that something was impossible, unrealistic, or out of reach, then you probably understand this journey better than most.
Thank you for being part of it.
