The Olympic Games are usually associated with countries that have strong traditions, large budgets, and generations of experience behind their athletes.

My story is different.

I come from Romania, where sailing is still a small sport and opportunities are limited. When I started, there was no Romanian woman to look up to in Olympic sailing and very few people believed this journey was possible. Most of what I have achieved has been built step by step, through persistence, sacrifice, and the support of people who chose to believe in something long before the results spoke for themselves.

Together, we changed that.

In 2024, I became the first Romanian woman to compete in Olympic sailing at the Olympic Games. It was a historic moment for me, but it was never a journey I made alone. Every person who encouraged me, supported me, shared my story, or helped me get to the next regatta played a part in making it happen.

Now my focus is on Los Angeles 2028.

The next Olympic campaign will be even more demanding. Competing at the highest level requires years of preparation, international competition, coaching, equipment, and thousands of hours on the water. Behind every race you see are countless days of work that most people never do.

That is why this journey is built by a community.

Monthly supporters are not simply spectators following along from the sidelines. They become part of the team. Every training camp, every competition, every step forward becomes possible because people decide that this story is worth investing in.

Paris 2024 showed what was possible.

Los Angeles 2028 is about seeing how far we can take it.

My goal is not only to compete at the highest level, but also to help grow the sport in Romania and show future generations that where you come from does not determine what you can achieve. I want young athletes to see that even if there isn't a clear path in front of them, they can still build one.

If you have ever been told that something was unrealistic, impossible, or out of reach, then you probably understand this journey better than most.
