I wouldn't normally do this but I owe it to my wife to try.

3 years ago I was in a bad way with cancer and she nursed me back to health while keeping our business going at the same time which took a lot out of her. Now 6 months ago, she herself has been diagnosed with cancer and currently undergoing treatment which will hopefully be finished by the end of May and she has her heart set on a move to Scotland afterwards to make a new start.

The ridiculous part of all this is that we are only only in our 30s and 40s.

To add a bit more background, we left the United Kingdom in 2016 after being unable to have children, despite several failed IVF attempts and moved to France to make a fresh start, opening up our own small business. However, after coming through my own battle with cancer, we decided to sell everything and take a year out and travel around Europe to try and recover mentally. However, 6 months into this year out, we found out my wife had cancer and had to cut our travels short and bought a mobile home near Perpignan to stay in while she undergoes treatment.

To help recover both mentally and physically, we have decided to buy a mobile home in the north of Scotland and have paid a £10,000 deposit and require £30,000 to pay the balance within 3 months or we will lose both the deposit and mobile home which would be devastating after everything she has already been through.

In return, I can offer pieces of artwork that I have created since going through an Art Therapy course during my own cancer treatment (as long as delivery costs are covered of course). I already have a few pieces available which can be seen on my Instagram page - instagram.com/karlmielukart/ and intend to try and create an auction on this fund raising page. If none are available or you would prefer something different painting in return for a donation, please let me know.

Again, I wouldn't ordinarily do something like this but this move would be perfect to help her recover both mentally and physically, so I have to try for her.
