Fundraiser title - *Support Abhash Pandey To Recover From Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy*
My Name is Swati. I am raising fund on the behalf of my son Abhash Pandey. He is 2.7 yrs old. He is suffering from Rare Genetic Disorder called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
One of the most severe disease which causes skeletal and heart muscle weakness & eventually affects all voluntary muscles of the body. Currently, Abhash is having enlarged calves & facing trouble in climbing stairs, getting up from the floor, & running.
As of now there is no treatment or cure for this disease, but *Gene therapy* has given a ray of hope to us which got successful in US recently.
