Erik Bircas – Speeding Towards the Future 🏁

My name is Erik Bircas, I’m 11 years old, and motorsport isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s the dream that makes me wake up every morning with motivation, ambition and the desire to get better.

Just a year ago, I entered the world of racing for the first time. I was just a kid passionate about cars, speed and competition. Together with my family, we started this journey almost from scratch, with limited resources, but with something far more important: faith, hard work and sacrifice.

Since then, I’ve had the chance to race on several circuits in Hungary, including the Kakucs Ring, Euroring and M-Ring, where every lap and every race has helped me grow and learn.

This year, the results have followed.

I managed to secure victories and podium finishes in international competitions, competing against drivers older and more experienced than me. But the moment that proved to us that this dream could become a reality was my participation at the Hungaroring — one of the most important circuits in Europe and a place where many children dream of competing.

The fact that I finished in 4th place, competing against older children with much better-prepared cars, showed us that passion, discipline and ambition can overcome many limits.

But motorsport is one of the most expensive sports in the world.

Behind every race there are sacrifices. There are sleepless nights, hard work, nerves, broken parts, long journeys and a family doing everything they can to keep this dream alive.

My current car — a 2009 Renault Twingo RS — has helped me get further than we ever imagined. But in order to continue to develop and compete safely at a higher level, the car needs significant upgrades.

The funds raised will be used for:

• a professional racing seat
• a sports steering wheel
• professional suspension
• a full performance exhaust
• two sets of rims
• semi-slick tyres
• competition slicks
• wet tyres
• complete customisation and wrapping of the car

Our aim is not just to make the car faster.

Our aim is to give a child the chance to continue to grow, learn and represent the future generation of motorsport.

Because the future of motorsport begins with children who have the courage to dream.

Perhaps one day I will reach even bigger circuits, carrying with me the support of everyone who believed in me from the very beginning.
