Descriere

My name is Theodora, I am 26 years old, and I never imagined I would find myself asking strangers for help. However, after years of medical struggles, financial hardship, and personal loss, I have reached a point where I can no longer overcome these challenges alone.

My health problems began when I was only 18 years old. What started as a severe kidney crisis soon became a recurring nightmare. For years, I lived with constant pain, repeated infections, hospital visits, treatments, and uncertainty. Every few months, I found myself back in the hospital, hoping for answers and relief.

Two years ago, my condition became even more serious. Three kidney stones became lodged in my urinary tract, forcing me to undergo three surgeries within a single month. It was one of the most physically and emotionally exhausting periods of my life. After the surgeries, I finally experienced a period of recovery and believed that perhaps the worst was behind me.

Unfortunately, six months ago the problems returned.

The pain came back. The infections returned. The hospitalizations started again. Just a few weeks ago, I underwent another surgery after two additional kidney stones became trapped and required urgent medical intervention. Despite years of treatments, tests, and procedures, the exact cause of my recurring condition remains unknown.

While I was fighting for my health, my financial situation began to deteriorate.

The medical expenses, recovery periods, and inability to work consistently forced me to seek financial help through loans. Some of these loans came from high-interest financial institutions because at the time I had no other options. My priority was simply getting the medical care I needed and trying to continue living a normal life.

Then another major setback occurred.

After years of working, I unexpectedly lost my job and was forced to resign. This left me carrying additional financial obligations while already struggling under the weight of medical expenses and existing loans. The situation became even more difficult when I was required to assume a significant payment obligation related to my former employment.

Today, although I was fortunate enough to find a new job, my income is still not enough to cover all of my monthly obligations. Between loan payments, financial commitments, rent, utilities, transportation, food, and medical expenses, I am left constantly trying to choose which bills can be paid and which must wait.

What makes this situation even harder is that I am facing it largely alone.

During this difficult period, my relationship ended, and I no longer have the emotional support I once relied upon. There are days when the stress feels overwhelming. The fear of losing financial stability, combined with ongoing health concerns, has taken a significant toll on both my physical and emotional well-being.

Creating this fundraiser was not an easy decision.

I have always tried to solve my problems on my own and take responsibility for my obligations. I am not asking for luxury, comfort, or an easy life. I am simply asking for an opportunity to regain some stability and breathe again after years of struggling to stay afloat.

How the funds will be used:

• Paying off two urgent high-interest debts that currently create the greatest financial pressure.

• Covering medical follow-up expenses related to my kidney condition and ongoing recovery.

• Reducing monthly financial obligations so I can focus on maintaining my health and keeping my current employment.

• Helping with essential living expenses such as rent, utilities, food, and transportation during this difficult period.

My goal is not to eliminate every problem overnight. My goal is to remove enough of the burden to give myself a realistic chance to recover, remain employed, continue treatment, and rebuild my life step by step.

I can provide supporting documentation regarding my medical history, surgeries, employment situation, and financial obligations to verify the circumstances described above.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with others would mean just as much. Every share increases the possibility of reaching someone who may be able to help.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for giving me hope during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

With gratitude,

Theodora
