We are already arranging for Mama cat to be spayed as an emergency, as she has unfortunately given birth to genetically impaired kittens completely unnecessarily.

We went to the vet today, and unfortunately, the situation is not very promising... 😔

Their names are now LEON 💙 and LEILA ❤️, so everyone can follow their little journey.

Both kittens have genetic abnormalities. LEON 💙 was born without eyeballs, while LEILA ❤️ was born deaf.

They both underwent various tests. Their blood tests came back negative, but their stool tests were positive for Giardia. At least it’s not parvo 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

They also have worms 😔. LEILA ❤️ has a very swollen belly because of them, while LEON 💙 is extremely thin and underweight.

For now, they have to undergo a 10-day course of medication, along with deworming.

The vet bill has become unbelievably high 😔... and unfortunately, we still don’t know what the final cost will be.

Please keep your fingers crossed for them 🙏🤞. According to the statistics, genetically impaired kittens unfortunately often do not live long lives, but I will do everything I possibly can for them!
