Dear people with good hearts,

our son Danijel suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe and progressive neuromuscular disease that causes him to move around daily with the help of a wheelchair and needs constant assistance.

In order for Danijel to be able to safely and regularly attend therapy, rehabilitation, medical examinations, school, and all the activities necessary for his health and quality of life, our family urgently needs an adapted vehicle with a wheelchair lift.

Without such a vehicle, every time we leave the house, it is a great physical effort and risk – for Danijela, but also for us as parents. Unfortunately, we are not financially able to secure the purchase of such a car ourselves. The cost of the vehicle with the necessary adjustments is around €45,000.

That is why we launched this campaign with the hope that, with the help of good people, we will be able to provide Danijela with safe, dignified and humane transportation.
