Please help Luna run again!

I never thought I’d find myself in this situation, but now I need your help and support. My 4-year-old German Shepherd, my daily companion and ray of sunshine, is in severe pain, and I can no longer help her on my own.

Although Luna is still very young, she has unfortunately been struck by the nightmare of large-breed dogs: she has developed a serious hip problem. Anyone who knows her knows what a lively, playful and loyal dog she is, but now every single step causes her immense pain. It is heart-wrenching to see her former cheerful running replaced by an unsteady limp and suffering.

​Over the past period, I have done everything in my power to ease his pain. However, the constant vet visits, examinations, painkillers and treatments to date have now completely exhausted all my resources. I have found myself in a very difficult situation, both emotionally and financially. We have now reached the point where temporary solutions are no longer helping: his only chance of a pain-free, full life is major hip surgery.

The cost of the surgery, the essential follow-up tests, rehabilitation (physiotherapy) and medication is expected to be €2,000. In my current situation, I am simply unable to raise this amount on my own. That is why I am now turning to you, putting all my pride aside. Please, if you can, support Luna’s recovery!

Any small amount – even the price of a cup of coffee – is a huge help to us and brings us one step closer to my dog being the happy, pain-free animal she once was.
