Designing new mouse shape and patenting it
Designing new mouse shape and patenting it
Aprašymas
Hello, my name is George-Razvan, I am from Romania. I graduated Physical Therapy Nursing School, am a Massage Therapist and an avid gamer. Working with my hands a lot, having some medical background and at the same time gaming, I found that there can be some improvements added to the gaming mouse shape to be less stressful on the hand. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is wide spread among gamers and my innovation can help greatly reduce that while increasing gaming time capacity by being less demanding on the player. I came up with some ideas and did some internet research and found out that it can even be patented and seek funding to do so.
I seek a 15000 euros target to transform concepts into highly functioning prototypes, by acquisitioning the necessary equipment and parts for design and manufacture, once the protype is complete, get in patented and recognized by WIPO- World Intellectual Property Organization, reach out to some professional eSport gamers to test out the improvements and how if affects their gaming efficiency, coordination and how much less strenuous it is on their hands. After that the plan is to make some final adjustments if need be and license the patent
It will eventually impact every PC gamer on the the planet making pro players career life easier and longer while improving the output quality of everyone who plays games with their mouse while reducing pain caused by exhaustion.
The biggest challenges are to obtain the patent for the innovation and getting a few professional eSports players to try them out for a couple of weeks (1-2 weeks is more than enough) after that it is just about getting the word out.
By funding the project you will greatly help out in making the changes needed to improve the quality of everyone that has to click on a mouse all over the world. It would also be nice to get the word out to some professional eSports players since they are the ones to benefit the most in the beginning, having their support would make a huge difference especially is they are willing to help out with the testing phase.
