I was born in Alicante (Spain) and grew up in the Spanish Mediterranean coast. I found an early passion for science and mathematics, which I followed into an academic career that took me to London, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Boston. I currently work as a mathematical researcher at the Wolfram Institute and as director of the Society for Multidisciplinary and Fundamental Research. I love baroque music and strategy games.
