Line (Position) of the Middle Oder River (German: Oderstellung) - is a complex of about 650 (out of about 780 planned) single-storey reinforced concrete combat, observation or passive shelters equipped with numerous fortress armor (e.g. plates, semi-domes and armored domes). They were built in the years 1928-1939 for fear of an attack by the Polish Army. Unfortunately, history turned out differently in September 1939.
