Hi, my name is Alex. I’m reaching out for help for my daughter, Lucy, who was born prematurely and has been battling chronic health issues after having spent over 18 months in hospital already. Recently, our car broke down, and we urgently need a new one to ensure she can get to her regular medical checkups.

Since Lucy was born prematurely, she has faced numerous health challenges, including having part of her intestines removed, and a total of 6 operations. We not only have regular medical appointments but also require her to see various specialists to support her development and rehabilitation. Our old car breaking down has made it incredibly difficult to manage her care. We urgently need a reliable vehicle to continue her treatment to eventually enable her a relatively normal life. Due to the huge amount of medication she received early in her life, Lucy's immune system is still far from stable, frequently catches colds which often turn into more serious issues, which is why it is important for us to have a viable means of transport, away for the public transportation options to keep her safe.

We are raising 10.000 € to purchase a reliable car that will enable us to take Lucy to her appointments and ensure she receives the best possible care. As we are struggling with the massive costs to cover monthly treatment we unfortunately do not have the needed funds.
