When summer comes and the sun's rays warm our hearts, for many of us home becomes a place where happiness and rebirth are born. But for some, the warmth of summer days brings no relief, and homelessness and violence continue to haunt their souls. In these moments we need to unite to bring hope to the hearts of those who need it most. The Wrocław Development Ambassador Foundation invites you to participate in our project to build 4 modular houses for those who have experienced violence.

Your support will help us turn dreams into reality, creating places where the warmth of the summer sun will radiate not only outside, but also in the hearts of those who find shelter in these homes. Together we can create an oasis of hope that will inspire the entire community.

We have been supporting a center for homeless women with children after experiencing violence for over 17 years. Out of great need and common willingness to act, the Safe Place for Women project was created. We are working on the project under the banner of the Ambasador Rozwoju Wrocławia Socjalne Budownictwo Społeczne Foundation, which counteracts violence against women. This project is close to our hearts and beliefs, and thanks to extensive cooperation and partnership, we will be able to help even more women with children in need.

We are turning to you for a reason. We direct this information to people, companies and institutions that have similar values and the need and opportunity to support our mission. It is thanks to people like you that it is possible to change our Polish reality.

Together with people, partner organizations and donors, we want to create unique places that provide not only shelter, but also the opportunity to work through trauma and activate women. A place that will allow people experiencing violence to return to functioning in society.

The statistics leave no doubt - every week in Poland, 3 Polish women die due to domestic violence.

Every 7 days, 3 mothers die, usually leaving orphaned children alone.

There are approximately 720 deaths per year from domestic aggression. Our state does not offer sufficient support for women with experience of violence.

Every help, every gesture and commitment is essential to the life and safety of many women.

There is division in society when it comes to domestic violence. Some people believe that victims accept their suffering, but nothing could be further from the truth! In fact, many people are afraid or don't know how to respond to the violence they see around them. That is why it is so important to educate society, especially witnesses of violence, on how to act in such situations.

Our activities focus on building support infrastructure for victims of domestic violence, especially in smaller towns where there is a lack of specialized psychological, therapeutic and psychiatric help, especially for mothers with children. Your help can change the lives of many people!

Any money collected will be spent on:

Development of support infrastructure: Construction and maintenance of places where victims of violence can seek help and psychological support.

Support for victims: Providing victims of violence not only with psychological care, but also with legal and material support so that they can rebuild and start a new, safe life.

Your money will be used to provide these women and mothers with their children not only with a roof over their heads, but also:

24-hour, periodic stay, up to 12 months, ensuring safety.

Shelter for pregnant and perinatal women, providing them with support at this important time.

Isolation from perpetrators of violence to ensure their safety.

Supporting in overcoming crisis situations and preventing social marginalization.

Preparation for conscious and responsible parenthood to prevent social orphanhood.

Separate sleeping rooms and shared living rooms.

Communal bathrooms and kitchen to ensure basic conditions.

Washing and drying rooms to ensure hygiene and comfort.

Your help doesn't end with providing shelter. We will also provide them with:

Basic care during illness and care of children.

Access to health services and assistance with personal matters.

Personal hygiene products to ensure their comfort and dignity.

Your support will also lead to:

Stimulating social activity and inspiring self-help activities.

Cooperation with other specialists to counteract social pathologies.

Initiating new forms of assistance and participating in social assistance programs.

When safety is at stake, when women and mothers with children have to flee from home, let our arms become their shelter. Your support will allow us to provide them not only with a roof over their heads, but also with a warm, friendly environment that relieves stress and gives them strength to fight for a better tomorrow.
