My mother had a serious surgery done this past year, αρθρόδεση and with her rheumatoid arthritis it had lower chances of succeeding, but thank god it did. For 6 months she was nursed at home by me and the rest of the family as we waited for the surgery to work, its whole purpose was to unite the bone shards and make a new "ankle". Afterwards she had to return to the hospital to remove the needles they had inserted to her below her knee, that process was extremely painful to her. Every surgery went on with huge success though she can't bend her ankle and its permanently swollen, I want to try and get her comfortable shoes that will make her feel even a bit better after this year of daily stress and pain, thank you.
