Descrición
At the center of Sergiusz Powałka’s (born 1986) interest are landscapes, spaces and architectures which, using classical painting and graphic methods, the artist transforms into poetic and abstract constructs. Parts of the surface are attuned in terms of colors and confronted with one another; the artist contrasts them with monumental and impressive monochromatic surfaces. From now on, a mountain looks like an enormous, striking sculpture; the sky becomes an infinite and mysterious passage to the universe.
