I am a tenor, 53 years old, and I am fighting to continue a dream I have carried for decades: to share my voice, my art, and classical music with more people. I come from a poor family in Brazil, with no connection to the musical world. My first encounter with opera was an old vinyl record I received as a gift when I was young, and music has transformed my life ever since. However, adult life and financial difficulties never allowed me to pursue this dream as I wished. Now, at 53, I face closed doors to competitions, auditions, and conservatories because of my age. Still, I have not given up. I want to resume my training, record new interpretations, and rebuild my career as a tenor here in Portugal and abroad. I need support to cover essential costs such as: vocal lessons, professional audio and video recordings, travel and performance expenses, technical materials, and project production. The goal of this fundraiser is €4.000, an amount that will allow me to take a new step and share my voice with the public once again.
