The present monograph gives the reader the opportunity to study this emblematic historical building of Arad, It is remarkable from an architectural point of view; also it pays off to glimpse into the daily life of its owners and inhabitants; it also gives an overview of the buildings in the neighbourhood and an x-ray of its current state of affairs. Through the masterfully painted fresco, the author brings to life the era at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, which we nostalgically call "la belle epoque", and then takes a trip into the micro-universe of the small central street from Arad and its inhabitants; from the interwar period to the present day.
