Help My Mum Fight Takayasu Syndrome and Osteoporosis
My mum is facing several health challenges that have made daily life incredibly hard for her.
Hi, my name is Juri, and I’m creating this fundraiser for the most important person in my life—my mum.
She’s currently battling two serious health conditions:
🔹 Takayasu arteritis, a rare and painful disease that inflames her major arteries, restricting blood flow to vital organs.
🔹 Osteoporosis, which has weakened her bones so much that even small movements can cause severe pain or fractures.
Every day is a struggle for her—physically, emotionally, and financially.
From constant fatigue and dizziness to bone pain that keeps her up at night, I’ve watched her go from someone who loved walking in the park to someone who now needs help getting out of bed.
She's in pain more days than not, and even small joys have become rare.
She has several broken Bones and a rare Takayasu's syndrome (also called Takayasu arteritis) is a rare, chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the large blood vessels, especially the aorta and its major branches.
The immune system mistakenly attacks the blood vessels, causing:
- Inflammation
- Narrowing (stenosis) or blockage
- Weakening of vessel walls, leading to aneurysms
- Reduced blood flow to important organs (like the brain, heart, kidneys)
Symptoms can be nonspecific at first (early phase), then progress as the arteries become damaged:
Early (Systemic) Phase:
- Fatigue
- Fever
- Joint pain
- Weight loss
- Night sweats
Late (Occlusive) Phase:
- Weak or absent pulse in arms or legs
- Arm or chest pain during activity
- High blood pressure
- Dizziness or fainting
- Stroke-like symptoms in severe cases
Living with Takayasu’s
- Regular checkups (MRI, CT angiography)
- Long-term medication management
- Lifestyle changes to reduce stress on the heart
- Emotional and mental support (it can be a tough journey)
If this is what your mum is dealing with, she’s incredibly strong says the Doc in the Hospital to me.
As her child, all I want is to give her a chance to feel better—to help her smile, laugh, and feel like herself again.
Medical bills, treatments, and everyday care are adding up fast, and it's more than we can handle alone.
That’s why I’m asking for your help.
I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and love. My mom is sick, and it hurts me so much to see her in pain.
She’s always been the strongest, most caring person in my life—my hero, my safe place, my sunshine.
Now, she needs help and I can't handle it all alone.
Medical bills, treatments, and the stress of everything have been so hard.
I just want her to get better… to smile again, laugh again, and feel all the love that surrounds her.
I’m still just her child, but I know that together, we can make a difference.
Every little bit helps—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word.
Please help me bring some light back into my mom’s world.
I want her to feel the happiness she always gave me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Donate whatever you're guided to.
Every donating is a spark.
Thank You all from the heart and deeps soul
With love and light
