QUE LOS VALORES HUMANOS NO SE RINDAN

No es una frase bonita. Es un grito.

Es el grito de quien se niega a renunciar a aquello que da sentido a la vida cuando todo parece empujarle a hacerlo.

Mi nombre es Carmen.

Nunca imaginé que tendría que pedir ayuda. Siempre he intentado salir adelante por mis propios medios, trabajando con esfuerzo y procurando vivir de acuerdo con mi conciencia.

Hoy atravieso una situación económica muy difícil. Necesito apoyo para cubrir necesidades básicas, especialmente alimentación, vivienda y otros gastos esenciales, mientras intento reconstruir mi vida tras una etapa que ha supuesto un enorme desgaste personal, emocional y económico.

No escribo estas palabras para despertar compasión.

Las escribo porque creo que pedir ayuda también requiere valentía cuando se hace con honestidad.

Vivimos en un tiempo en el que, muchas veces, resulta más fácil callar que decir la verdad, más fácil rendirse que mantenerse firme, más fácil mirar hacia otro lado que actuar con humanidad.

Aun así, sigo creyendo que el verdadero patrimonio de la humanidad no es el dinero, ni el poder, ni el reconocimiento.

Es la verdad.

La dignidad.

La solidaridad.

La compasión.

La honestidad.

Son esos valores los que sostienen una sociedad cuando todo lo demás comienza a derrumbarse.

Por eso esta campaña no habla solo de mí.

Habla de la confianza que todavía podemos tener unos en otros.

Cada aportación, por pequeña que sea, se destinará íntegramente a cubrir mis necesidades básicas —alimentación, vivienda y gastos esenciales— mientras recupero la estabilidad y puedo volver a sostenerme por mis propios medios.

Pero también tendrá otro significado.

Será un acto silencioso que demuestra que la solidaridad sigue existiendo.

Estoy convencida de que una sociedad no cambia únicamente con grandes discursos.

Cambia cuando personas corrientes deciden no ser indiferentes.

Mi compromiso es que, cuando supere esta etapa, pondré la experiencia que he adquirido al servicio de otras personas que también estén viviendo momentos difíciles, ofreciéndoles orientación, esperanza y la certeza de que nunca están solas.

No solo estarás ayudando a una persona.

Estarás demostrando que todavía merece la pena creer en aquello que nos hace verdaderamente humanos.

It is a cry.

The cry of someone who refuses to give up what gives life its meaning, even when everything seems to push them to do so.

My name is Carmen.

I never imagined I would have to ask for help. I have always tried to move forward on my own, working hard and striving to live according to my conscience.

Today, I am facing a very difficult financial situation. I need support to cover my basic needs, especially food, housing, and other essential living expenses, while I rebuild my life after a period that has taken an enormous personal, emotional, and financial toll.

I am not writing these words to seek pity.

I am writing them because I believe that asking for help also requires courage when it is done with honesty.

We live in a time when it is often easier to remain silent than to tell the truth, easier to give up than to stand firm, and easier to look away than to act with humanity.

Even so, I still believe that humanity's greatest wealth is not money, power, or recognition.

It is truth.

Dignity.

Solidarity.

Compassion.

Honesty.

These are the values that hold a society together when everything else begins to fall apart.

That is why this campaign is not only about me.

It is about the trust we can still place in one another.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will be used entirely to cover my basic needs—food, housing, and essential living expenses—while I regain stability and work toward supporting myself once again.

But your support will also mean something more.

It will be a quiet act of solidarity that proves kindness and humanity are still alive.

I truly believe that society is not changed only by great speeches.

It changes when ordinary people choose not to be indifferent.

My commitment is that, once I overcome this difficult chapter, I will dedicate the experience I have gained to helping others who are also going through hard times, offering guidance, hope, and the certainty that they are never alone.
