My name is Irini. With great hesitation but out of necessity, I’ve decided to share my situation, as I’m going through one of the most difficult phases of my life.
I’m 3 months pregnant and currently working two jobs, trying to cover my basic living expenses. My partner, the man I love and with whom we were expecting our child, is imprisoned abroad — still waiting for trial. We are fighting to prove the truth, but the process is slow and incredibly hard.
The weight I carry every day, both physically and emotionally, is overwhelming. That’s why I’m asking — as difficult as it is — for a little help from anyone who can offer even the smallest amount. Anything at all can truly make a difference.
