I hope this message finds you well.

Today is the first day in my life I am asking for a donation. My story may not seem to be as heart-breaking as some others, yet I used everything I could to find my way out from the serious situation I currently have to face, and as it all worked only partially I finally decided to post my story here, at a very early morning after a sleepless night and humbly say: Please Help Me.

I reach out to you with a request that originates from the bottom of my heart. It is a request that is motivated by my intense love for my family and my need to keep my kids safe and with me.

We have lived in a modest suburban apartment for the last seven years. Here, being a single mother, I gave my all to make a safe haven for my daughter, my son and myself. I was able to completely renovate our apartment myself together with working full-time and getting a bachelor's degree. During this time also one awesome man came into my life and recently became my husband.

But the safety and security we used to have here, though, has been rocked by recent changes in our neighbourhood.

New buildings have sprouted around us, bringing along a wave of not-so-friendly neighbours. The once serene atmosphere has been disrupted by the opening of several pubs nearby, making it increasingly unsafe, especially for my children. As a mother, I find myself torn between the emotional attachment to our current home, and the undeniable need to secure a safer future for my family.

Adding to this challenge is the shared care arrangement I have with my son's father (my daughter is grown-up), a situation that is far from simple. The fear of losing my son due to a disagreement over our new living arrangements looms large. Even now I can spend with him only half the time the mother should and now I am even more stressed by the possibility of losing him completely. It is a fear that keeps me up at night, knowing that any perceived inadequacy in our new home might be used against me and would take my small one from my life.

Here's where I sincerely beg for your help, sympathy, and kindness.

I'm asking for donations to help us pay the gap in the costs of finding a new house in a secure neighbourhood that isn't too far from our current place to interfere with our shared care arrangement. We are able to use a mortgage to find ourselves a new home, but a house we can afford is too far and might lead to an immediate loss of the yet limited contact with my son.

We will be very grateful for any donation you can send us. All the money will go directly toward bridging this financial gap because conventional methods, such as a mortgage we can afford, aren't able to cover the entire amount of the price of the house close enough to our current quarter, yet far enough from its new disadvantages.

We are a family that believes in giving back to others. In addition to the full-time employment of my husband and I working for a reputable company for several years, we also engage in various side projects and activities to supplement our income or share our knowledge and experience with others without charge. Our daughter is a university student who works to pay for her tuition.

Whether you give one dollar or a million, your contribution will greatly influence our lives. There is no way to overstate how urgent our situation is, given how much more dangerous our current home is becoming every day. In addition to bringing us happiness and security, your timely and kind assistance will make sure that my son stays with me, where he belongs, free from any potential conflict that a far-off or inappropriate home might cause.
