Hi everyone!
I’m Maria and I’m 21
I’m writing out because I don’t know where else to turn. I’m in need of 2000€ for travel expenses. The airline alone is almost 1200€ and they’re asking of us an extra 400€ for two nights stay in the cheapest hotel we could find at this moment because of the high demand and last minute call.
After my dad passed away, my mom, my little brother (who is a minor), and I have been trying to rebuild and move abroad to our home country. We booked an overnight trip through a travel agency that works directly with a bank so it seemed legit. The trip is in 5 days and we have paid tickets to an event so my mom and I can meet people about jobs and the move. The trip was entirely planned for this purpose.
The agency looked legitimate but now they’ve taken my savings and disappeared. Both I and the bank have tried to reach them for a refund and no one can get through. Loan applications I submitted were rejected because I’m a student and got fired a few months ago.
This trip is extremely important for us right now. If anyone is able to help, it would mean more than I can say.
