Hello,

I have travelled far and near, and I have met many souls along the way - including three, creatively closest to me - and all this so that Doświtek* could be created.

*in Old Polish: the moment just before sunrise.

Doświtek is a fusion of sung poetry, folk songs and my own compositions. It is contemporary and improvised music for piano, violin, kalimba and voice. The musical material was recorded acoustically, with carefulness in an organic way. Our recording session took place last autumn, in the magical atmosphere of the Kłodzko Valley mountains, in Studio Monochrom. We want this unique material to see the light of day.

SOUL I

Franciszek Raczkowski is an enthusiast of juniper and piano strings. Penetrating sounds and slender wooden bows emerge from under his fingers.

Franek is a co-creator of the album "Doświtek" as a pianist and contributed to the co-arrangement of all songs.

SOUL II

Mikołaj Kostka is a lover of coffee beans and the violin box, on which he plays irregular rhythms with his hands.

Zygmunt Konieczny is an enthusiast of quiet Krakow cafes, secrets and poetry.

Author of four compositions on the album "Doświtek" - including the two newest ones, dedicated to Magdalena.

Magdalena Pamuła. I love coffee with cardamom, looking at the fronts of old tenement houses and words in poetry and prose.

I am the originator of our musical world and the selection of songs, a connector of three creative souls and the author of poems and the music of three compositions that make up Doświtek.
