Living with Lyme disease has been an arduous journey, fraught with physical pain and emotional turmoil. For nearly a decade now, I have grappled with the relentless symptoms of this illness. From chronic fatigue and joint pain to neurological issues and cognitive impairments, each day brings its own set of challenges.

Throughout these years, I have faced numerous hurdles. Muscle injuries have become all too common, adding layers of physical discomfort to an already difficult existence. Moreover, the toll on my mental health has been profound. The weight of this illness has led me to dark places, and I have wrestled with thoughts of ending my own life on multiple occasions.

I have explored countless avenues in search of relief. One such method was the use of THC, which provided a measure of respite from the pain. However, in my country, THC remains illegal, and my attempt to alleviate my suffering led to unforeseen consequences. I incurred a €3000 fine and faced home arrest, simply for trying to survive the pain.

Despite these setbacks, I refuse to surrender to despair. My resilience is fueled by the love and support of those around me, and it is with humility that I now turn to you, seeking assistance.

Today, at 23 years old, I find myself in need of your support more than ever. The financial strain of managing Lyme disease has taken its toll, and I humbly ask for your assistance.
