We confess that we are collecting funds to pay off our debts, which are not our fault...My husband had a business, which he has now lost due to defaulting on his creditors...The business is small and my husband enjoyed it very much....And most importantly he was already doing well and we were slowly moving up...Our needs are very small...We have always made do with what we had, for example, at 47 years old we have never been on a holiday. We have no houses, no farmhouses, no land. We have a small apartment where all three of us live. We just wanted to improve our household a little and create wealth for our only son. We have never had any help from outside, and we never have. We did everything ourselves. I don't have parents, and my husband's parents don't recognise us and don't communicate with us... But we have never fought about it. We were happy to be together, we were healthy.

The debts in the company came about because she was helping her friends who were also trying to establish themselves in the same field as her husband's company. They did not repay the debts....There is nothing more to tell because we are drowning in debt. We are so far in debt that now we may lose our only asset - our apartment...My husband is very broken....Probably everyone knows how painful it is when you are let down by people you did not even expect it from. There was no sign that they were so sneaky, irresponsible. And I've been dealing with them for about 10-12 years. And they helped each other in very different situations, in other words, they were "time-tested"....But they left my Valdas to rot alone. He broke down...He took all the blame, even though it wasn't his fault...He blamed himself that we had been building for so many years and he ruined everything...And he feels guilty that my son and I are suffering a lot because of his mistakes. He tried to commit suicide...Thanks to my great efforts, I saved him, at least physically....What's next...How hard it is to look at a loved one who is going through such a hard time, and you can't do anything to help him....His future is very worrying, because we need to continue to solve the problems as far as we can.

It is very, very difficult to ask for help... Because you feel...I don't even know how to write...You feel really guilty that you are in this situation because of your trust in others, because of your trust in others....

But on the other hand, can't anyone be trusted? Don't you have to help someone close to you, be it a relative, a friend, or just someone you don't even know...? Then what a life...then only to live in the woods like a Moor....

My husband and I just can't understand how it is possible to treat others so meanly. What must go through such a person's mind when he chooses such a way of life - to harm others...
