Hello, this is our son Alexander Alexander is 15 years old and was born with wyburn-mason syndrome. The blood vessels in his brain are far too thin and therefore sometimes jump, already resulting in several brain haemorrhages. Unfortunately, there is no cure.

Because of his condition, he also has epilepsy, uncontrollable spasms and now has a stomach tube, since swallowing is becoming increasingly difficult.

Mentally he is also disabled.

But Alexander is our superhero, he never gives up and is the central person in our lives.

We have chosen to care for Alexander at home. And have enjoyed doing so for quite some time now.

For the last 3 years, we have transformed our home so that we can surround him with all the necessary care. All equipment has been bought or is rented by us so that he can live comfortably and with dignity at home surrounded by his family.

But the costs are unfortunately sky-high. Alexander takes rare medication of which only a very small portion is reimbursed, needs tube feeding, lying down transport to and from the hospital is also expensive, .

Any amount is therefore more than welcome. We can honestly use all the help we can get at the moment.
