🐾 Help Sansa run again! 🐾

Meet Sansa, a gentle, loving and extremely patient soul. She is just 2 years old and she shows her affection to everyone around her and, although she can't speak, she understands us by looking at us.

Unfortunately, what she feels most often now is pain. Sansa suffers from hip dysplasia in both hind legs and every step is getting harder and harder for her.

She likes to run, swim, play with a ball, but all these things have been forbidden. The doctors told us that any kind of movement can tear her ligaments at any time, which can completely take away her mobility. And yet, as much as we try to limit it, it's very hard, because she doesn't understand why she can't do what she loves. She wants to exercise, play with her friends and lead an active life.

However, Sansa is patient and accepting. Although she doesn't like them, she takes her supplements every day, seeming to realise that it's the only way she can still move her hind legs. But we know that's not a long-term solution. Her only chance is an expensive operation, without which she may soon be unable to walk at all.

This is the story that motivated us to set up Sansa and Friends. Not just for her, but also for other puppies and cats in need of life-saving treatments and interventions. We want to help abandoned animals, to inform people about the importance of sterilisation and responsible care and to support as many cases as possible who, without help, would have no hope.
