🇪🇸 ¡Hola a todos!, soy Mathilde, la organizadora de Madrid Sketch Squad.

Nuestro grupo está a punto de cumplir dos años! 🎂 Desde agosto de 2023 hemos tenido 111 eventos, 15 organizadores (¡un aplauso para todos los organizadores!) y ya somos casi 1700 personas en el grupo de Meetup. No los he contado, pero probablemente también hemos hecho más de 2000 dibujos, y a mi eso me alegra muchissimo! 😄

A lo largo del año, hemos explorado Madrid, dibujado y compartido muy buenos momentos. Pero ahora que se acerca el final de este segundo año, toca pensar en lo menos divertido: pagar la cuota de la plataforma Meetup. Hay que pagarla antes de que acabe julio, y es de 123 €.

El coste desglosado es: $119.00 + 19% de impuestos = $142.68, o sea, unos 123€.

Por eso me pongo en contacto con vosotros: si pueden apoyar al grupo con unos euros, se los agradecería muchísimo! Mantenernos en Meetup nos permite comunicar los próximos eventos fácilmente y que nuevas personas nos descubran y se puedan unir al grupo.

El grupo sigue el año que viene, y los eventos seguirán siendo gratuitos.

🇬🇧 Hey all, it's Mathilde, organizer of Madrid Sketch Squad!

Our group is about to celebrate its second year! 🎂 Since August 2023, we've had 111 events, 15 organizers (shoutout to all the organizers!), and almost 1700 members are part of the Meetup group. I haven't counted them, but we probably also produced more than 2000 drawings. That's beautiful, right? 😄

Throughout the year, we've explored Madrid, sketched, and had a lot of fun together. But as our first year comes to a close, it's time to think about the less fun stuff - paying the fees for the Meetup platform. They have to be paid by the end of July, and are of 123€.

The breakdown of the cost is of $119.00 + 19% tax = $142.68 or 123€.

I'm reaching out to you for support. By maintaining our group on Meetup, we can easily communicate upcoming events, and allow new members to discover us and become a part of our community. The group will continue in the coming year, and the events will remain free.
