Our Bastardakey has been really sick for the past month. She has been through many check-ups and ultra sounds. They found pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and cholangiohepatitis. During that she has been hospitalized for 20 days, since everytime we could get her back home she would get worse right after. Visibly in pain, little to no eating, sometimes not even drinking, hiding, being lethargic,vomiting etc. She lost almost 50% of her body weight in these 30days.. Intensive Care Unit is her only chance to make it, according to her doctor. Right upon learning this, we rushed her to the specialized 24/7 clinic with ICU, where she was put a feeding tube and is being watched through day and night.

Our priority and hope is Bastardo's health to get stabilized; right now at 2.2 kg and her immune system being so weak, her life is at risk. Then, we can hopefully focus on the other health issues and find a compatible treatment for her.

The cost of the clinic for the level of care she needs is high. (120 euros/day for the stay alone) Plus, the ongoing examinations, follow-up blood tests and ultrasounds create a big financial burden.
