I am building KODI — an emotional companion robot designed to become a real member of the family.

KODI is not a toy, not a voice assistant, and not just another smart device.

KODI is a character — a small humanoid with his own personality, feelings, and reactions.

KODI can:

understand natural speech

react to emotions and tone

express his own emotional states

learn from interactions

play with children

help with everyday tasks

respond to sounds, movement, and the environment

KODI is fully offline and completely autonomous.

He does not send any data to the cloud, does not connect to external servers, and never transmits personal information.

All processing — speech, vision, emotions, memory and behavior — happens entirely inside the robot.

My vision is to create an affordable personal robot that can:

become a safer alternative to a smartphone for children

teach communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence

provide company during the day

be a playful, curious, friendly companion

KODI stands around 80 cm tall — big enough to feel alive, small enough to be safe and gentle.

He will be able to:

walk around the house

turn toward voices and movement

interact with pets

play simple games

express happiness, curiosity, surprise

react immediately to sudden noises or user interaction

behave not like a machine, but like a character

Why I’m raising funds:

KODI already has a complete development plan.

The full architecture of the robot — mechanical structure, movement system, internal AI layers, interaction model, behavior logic, and personality design — is fully specified and ready to build.

What I currently lack are the funds for the physical components required to bring KODI to life.
