I was placed with a foster family when I was young; we lived in Corcelle in the Beaujolais region, surrounded by the world of farming and the grape harvest… I developed a passion for cooking from a young age, surrounded by farmers who introduced me to local produce and showed me how to cook it.And the local women, who were in charge of cooking for the grape harvest every year, taught me to cook from a young age – which motivated me to become an apprentice at the age of 15 at the Bocuse School in Lyon, where I was lucky enough to be trained by chefs who taught me a great deal and gave me my big break... I’ve now been working as a chef for 24 years, and for the last three I’ve been saving up to buy an eco-friendly food truck to showcase local produce, working with farmers to introduce people to quality products.And also, in turn, to be able to give young people a chance, just as we did for me...
