Hi everyone! Thank you for your interest and support of my dream. I will start by saying a few things about myself and how i got here. My name is Matei, i am 33, live in Romania (Bucharest).

My dream is to build a small hotel for pets.

How i got here? Well... it all started when i was 7 y.o. and in one really bad winter night i found an almost frozen to death puppy that was seeking shelter from the snow. I went home, got one of my winter hats, cut 5 holes in it ( for the legs and the tail) and waited for parents to get home from work to ask permission to bring it home. When my father arrived, i asked like 7milion times if i can bring her up and the answer was "ok, fine, we will keep her until the winter passes". That "winter" lasted for 19 years.

This is the last picture i have with her, taken on 2015-08-04, she was 18 and a half years old... Unfortunately after she turned 19, she got cancer, the operation was a success but her body wasn't strong enough and, while she was still recovering, she developed epilepsy. I had to take the hardest choice in my life... to put her down... I still miss her even tho 8 years have passed since then. She was the one that made me fall in love with dogs and animals in general. She was the one that taught me what loyalty and unconditional love means.

Since i started working and getting my own salary, i started helping with stray dogs. I helped however i could as much as i could. I saved over 30 dogs/puppies and 10 cats abandoned on the side of the road or in fields. Here are some photos of some of them, enjoy! :D

A few years ago i bought an old house with 1700 m2 of land, outside of the city in order to move there and start my own business. Unfortunately the pandemic hit and my funds grew shorter and shorter.... the only things i was able to do was to put a new roof as the old one was really damaged and install a septic tank. This is how it looks right now:

Right now, i live with rent, in a 1 bedroom apartment with my two dogs: Kira (german shepherd mix) and Loki (golden retriever mix) .

If you choose to donate for my dream, your funds will be used to make that house minimally livable and the majority of it will go towards building the pet hotel. (12m long shipping container in which i will build the rooms, insulation for the container, fences to limit the spaces for different purposes (bathroom area, play area, exercise area, etc).

I want to build a quality space where people can leave their pets, guilt and worry free. What i want to offer in the beginning for the people that leave their pets in my care while they are gone:

• 6 available rooms (for start)
• non stop live feed to be able to see your pet
• quality rooms with floor heating for winter and air condition during summer
• pool and parkour track for dogs
• grass area where they can play
• pick up/ delivery of your pet from and to your house

What i would like to develop from here:

• store with premium food
• grooming and washing services for pets
• noise canceling rooms for holiday season
• vet services
