My name is Dawid, and I live in the countryside where numerous stray cat colonies have found refuge. Alongside these strays, my wife and I share our home with two beloved cats and two bunnies, reflecting our deep love for animals. This compels us not to turn a blind eye to any animal in need. As passionate advocates for empathy and harmony, we've dedicated ourselves to providing these creatures with the love and care they deserve.

Currently, we are tending to about 14 stray cats, but each year, this number grows as new strays find their way to us. The tasks involved include regular feeding, medical care, and crucial procedures like sterilization to prevent the colonies from growing unsustainably. However, our mission is facing increasing challenges. I am currently unemployed, recovering from knee surgery, and we are expecting a child. Our financial resources are stretched thinner than ever.

Our Current and Growing Challenges:

One of our cats is currently suffering from severe dental issues, causing significant pain and discomfort, and unfortunately, another cat has started to show similar symptoms. Additionally, we've noticed one cat developing a persistent cough—the cause unknown, which further worries us about potential spreading illnesses. Thankfully, a compassionate vet, aware of the many lives we tend to, offers us discounts. However, the costs remain daunting.

Sometimes, our kind neighbors contribute food, but these moments are rare and not enough to sustain the increasing number of mouths to feed. We also have two very old cats who require special care and diets to ease their aging pains—a silent reminder that every day could be their last if not properly looked after.
