It’s with a lot of despair that I come to you, the social criteria based scholarship I used to get was not awarded to me this year. I’m a 22yo psychology student based in France. 

Indeed, from a financial point of view, the situation has gotten worse, my parents income is not enough to cover my expenses and theirs combined. I find myself with unpaid bills as well as an overdraft that I cannot pay on one of my bank accounts . We only eat one meal a day. When I left Guadeloupe to continue my studies in France, I would never have imagined such a situation, all this lack of money results in social isolation as well as a terrible drop in motivation. I fear for my studies and for my future… But what I fear the most is about my girlfriend health, she’s in fact diagnosed with heavy endometriosis and an ovarian tumor. I’m afraid of not being able to help her, especially because she needs constant support. We planned to move in together so we can only pay one rent instead of two. The scholarship not being granted, we are not currently able to finalize this project, which is extremely painful emotionally and really dangerous for her well-being. We do not live in the same city but I stood next to her the past 6months. I’ve also been looking for a job, for 1year now and I always get rejected…Meanwhile my girlfriend is getting many job appointments, she’s not able to work due to her suffering.

I turn to you because I believe in human kind, I know, even though it’s not much, that every single one of you will help us getting through this hard time.
