Tonight, May 13, 2025, a fire broke out in the apartment of our godfather Boris in Zadar, on Melada. The exact cause has not yet been determined, but due to some kind of technical malfunction, things under the children's bed caught fire, while two boys and their mother Ana, Boris's wife, were sleeping on it. Fortunately, she woke up immediately and evacuated the children and the dog, while Boris tried to put out the fire. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful because the fire spread quickly and by the time the firefighters arrived to put it out, most of the apartment had burned down, along with a large part of the furniture.

Boris, Ana, the boys and their pet are, fortunately, all well - they left the apartment in time.

They have managed to find temporary accommodation and basic necessities, but they will need a lot of help to get back on their feet and restore the apartment to its original condition. Therefore, we are asking for your financial assistance so that they can start planning and carrying out the necessary work as soon as possible.
