I'm Sonja, the creator of the Perec Friends social media pages.

I have been actively following the work of the Füzesabony Animal Protection Foundation for more than ten years, and during this time I have been a temporary foster parent for them on several occasions.

I have seen first-hand the incredible strength, perseverance and love with which they work day after day to give stray, abandoned or mistreated animals in Füzesabony and the surrounding area a chance at a safer, happier life.

The founders of the foundation and the volunteers literally put their hearts and souls into this work. In addition to their own lives, work and families, they spend their free time rescuing dogs in need, often from inhumane conditions. They rescue animals from situations that are difficult to even imagine.

I would like us to join forces for them now.

Even if only for a short time, we would like to take some of the burden off their shoulders with a financial donation. My goal is to raise 1,000,000 forints for them on the 4fund.com platform, where everyone can decide for themselves how much they can contribute to the collection.

Approximately 400,000 forints of this amount would cover the heartworm treatment of my current foster dog, Candy (pictured on the cover).

Hello everyone,

My name is Szonja, and I'm the founder of the Perec barátai social media pages. I've been actively following the work of the Foundation of Animal Protection in Füzesabony (FAPF) for over ten years, and during this time I've also worked with them as a foster on several occasions. The founders of the foundation and many of their volunteers have dedicated their lives to this mission, often rescuing dogs from inhumane conditions in their free time alongside their regular jobs.
