I am turning to you with a profound plea and an appeal for help. I am organizing a fundraiser for Hanan, who is struggling for the survival of her family in extremely difficult conditions. I am a mother, like Hanan, also a social worker and I am involved in social projects. Humanity, solidarity and mutual help are values that matter to me.

With your help, I would like to collect financial donations that can save Hanan and her children. For two months now (59 days as of April 29, 2025), food and medicine have not reached Gaza, the price of food, toiletries, medicine and other necessities continues to rise, and families find themselves without the basic necessities of life.

Hanan's story:

My name is Hanan, I am 34 years old and a mother of six children. My family is currently experiencing immeasurable tragedy. I was born in Gaza, where I went to university. Before the war, I worked as a first grade primary school teacher. My children went to school, learned and played. My husband Ahmed, who is 37 years old, and I lived a normal and peaceful life.

I have 3 daughters and 3 sons:

Shaz (15 years), Dareen (14 years), Sari (11 years),

Abdul Rahman (10 years), Ismail (5 years) and Khalil (1 year).

Now our life is turned upside down. Our home has been completely destroyed by bombing, only rubble remains. My children and I have been forced to leave our refuge nine times, we have been displaced many times, living in makeshift camps, tents and constant fear. Now we are again in a makeshift tent. The situation has worsened dramatically - my children are starving, we are short of food, drinking water, medicine, clothes. We need financial help so that my husband and I can provide them with food and clean water. Food is becoming scarce and prices are extremely high.

My young sons, Khalil and Ismail, have fallen ill as a result of malnutrition. Khalil is only one year old; he urgently needs diapers and milk. I am asking for your help so that I can provide him with basic care. Your financial contributions can save the lives of my children. I want to save my children and give them hope for a new life in a new home. Our house which was completely destroyed, we wish to rebuild it and live a new life. We want to return to our home in our house.
