🎂 Little Ismail had his birthday.

A moment of joy, but it is overshadowed by long suffering and pain. 💔

👦 His small body and soul are in pain. The heat in Gaza is brutal – temperatures often rise up to 40 °C.

Unlike here, there are no cooling trees or birds singing. Only sand, dust from bombings, the buzzing of drones, and the roar of military planes.

🔥 Ismail suffers both day and night. While our nights cool down, in Gaza the temperature stays around 30 °C even after dark. Sleeping in a tent is unbearable.

Ismail needs medicine for his skin disease. Without it, his condition gets worse.

He needs life-saving milk, vegetables, vitamins.

💔 His mother, Hanan Khalil Abu Nada, is doing her best, but she cannot manage alone. The fundraiser is struggling, contributions are scarce. 💔

👉 You can donate to the fundraiser or to our transparent account with the note “For Ismail”:

    Thank you ♥️💚💧🍼🥛🍏

Please, help this child. Help Ismail. Every euro can bring him relief from pain and hope that he too will have a childhood full of smiles. 🙏❤️

Description

Dear friends,

I am writing to you with a heartfelt plea and a call for help. I am organising a fundraising campaign for Hanan, who is fighting to keep her family alive in extremely difficult conditions. I am a mother, just like Hanan, as well as a social worker, and I am involved in social projects. Humanity, solidarity and mutual support are values that matter deeply to me.

With your help, I would like to collect financial contributions that could save Hanan and her children. For two months now (59 days as of 29 April 2025), neither food nor medicines have been reaching Gaza; the cost of food, hygiene products, medicines and other essentials continues to rise, and families find themselves without the basic necessities of life.

Hanan’s story:

My name is Hanan, I am 34 years old and I am a mother of six children. My family is currently going through an immeasurable tragedy. I was born in Gaza, where I went to university. Before the war, I worked as a primary school teacher. My children went to school, studied and played. My husband Ahmed, who is 37, and I lived a normal, peaceful life.

I have three daughters and three sons:

Shaze (15), Dareen (14), Sari (11),

Abdul Rahman (10), Ismail (5) and Khalil (1).

Now our lives have been turned upside down. Our home was completely destroyed by bombing; only rubble remains. We were forced to leave our refuge nine times with the children; we were displaced many times, living in makeshift camps, in tents and in constant fear. We are now back in a makeshift tent. The situation has deteriorated dramatically – my children are starving; we lack food, drinking water, medicines and clothing. We need financial assistance so that my husband and I can provide them with food and clean water. Food is becoming increasingly scarce and prices are extremely high.

My little sons, Khalil and Ismail, have fallen ill due to malnutrition. Khalil is just one year old; he urgently needs nappies and milk. I am askingfor your helpso that I can provide him with basic care. Your financial contributions can save my children’s lives. I want to save my children and give them hope for a new life in a new home. Our house, which was completely destroyed, we wish to rebuild and start a new life. We want to return to our home in our house.
