Good morning,
During our absence, in the middle of the night, the hose supplying water to the bathroom sink broke. Water under pressure poured for several hours, flooding our apartment with a layer of 5 cm of water, causing the destruction of the parquet, damp walls, wet furniture. The water overflowed to the neighbors, destroying their apartment. It poured down the wall of the newly renovated staircase for 5 floors. We are both retirees. Unfortunately, the apartment was not insured and we have to cover the losses ourselves. We are asking for help from good people in dealing with this catastrophe.
